Stone that holds
the line for decades.

Patios, walkways, steps and retaining walls β€” set on a proper base, pitched to drain, and laid by hands that take the extra hour to get it right.

Today's Patio 🧱

A real look at a patio or walkway we wrapped up this week β€” we post fresh work most weeks. This is current work straight off the job, not stock photos.

About Stonecraft Masonry
Who you're hiring

Stone is honest β€” it shows whether you rushed it.

We started Stonecraft because too much hardscaping is laid on sand and a prayer β€” it looks great in photos and heaves apart by the second winter. We do the unglamorous part right: dig deep enough, compact in lifts, pitch for drainage, then lay the stone.

Two decades on the trowel between us, and we still treat a backyard patio like the front of a building. We keep the site tidy, walk you through the base before it's buried, and leave you with stonework that settles in and stays put.

Why Stonecraft

The stonework you won't have to relevel

What separates a patio that lasts from one that heaves apart.

🧱

The base done right

Compacted gravel in lifts and proper depth β€” the part you never see is the part that lasts.

πŸ’§

Pitched to drain

Every surface graded to shed water away from the house, so nothing pools, freezes or shifts.

πŸ“

Tight, even joints

Lines that run true and joints that stay locked β€” the details you notice every single day.

🧹

Clean site, clear quote

A detailed quote up front, a tidy job throughout, and the yard left better than we found it.
